Derek Rittenhouse

Derek Rittenhouse has a diverse work experience in the mortgage industry. Derek is currently working as the VP of Quality Control at The Money Source Inc. since September 2020. Prior to this role, Derek served as the Correspondent Underwriting Team Lead at The Money Source Inc. from February 2022 to September 2023. Derek also held the position of Remote Correspondent DE Underwriter at The Money Source Inc. from April 2020 to February 2022.

Before joining The Money Source Inc., Derek worked as an Exception Desk Underwriter at Sprout Mortgage from April 2019 to April 2020.

Derek's earlier experiences include working as a Remote Correspondent DE Underwriter at The Money Source from September 2014 to January 2019, as a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Bank of America from December 2010 to September 2014, and as a Mortgage Loan Processor at Zero Chaos from April 2010 to December 2010.

Prior to that, they served as a Post Closing Supervisor/Underwriting Relationship Manager at World Alliance Financial Corp from April 2008 to April 2010, as a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor at Franklin First Financial from August 2005 to April 2008, as an Office Manager at Signature One Financial from December 2004 to August 2005, and as a File Management/Collateral Review Supervisor at American Home Mortgage from January 2002 to December 2004.

Throughout their career, Derek has demonstrated expertise in underwriting, quality control, file management, and team management, and has consistently contributed to the improvement of production and quality within the mortgage industry.

Derek Rittenhouse pursued their education at the University of Phoenix from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business and Health Care Administration. Before that, they attended Briarcliffe College from 2000 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Information Technology.
