Kristin Irwin

Kristin Irwin brings extensive experience in leadership and sports administration, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Monroe Family YMCA since March 2010. Prior to this role, Kristin held positions as Director of Parks & Recreation and Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Romulus, Michigan, from 2006 to 2010 and 2002 to 2006, respectively. Kristin also contributed to the development of student-athletes as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach & Instructor at Hillsdale College and Central Michigan University, and as a Graduate Assistant at Ohio Northern University. Education includes a Master's degree in Education from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training / Corporate Fitness from Grand Valley State University.
