Andrew Hecht

Andrew Hecht, MD, is the Chief of Spine Surgery and Director of the Spine Center at The Mount Sinai Hospital, a position held since May 2003. Additionally, Andrew serves as a Professor of Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery. Prior to this role, Andrew was an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Spine Fellowship Director at Massachusetts General Hospital from August 2001 to July 2003. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School, obtained between 1989 and 2004, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brown University, completed from 1985 to 1989.
