Joseph Kannry

Joseph Kannry is a seasoned professional in the field of clinical informatics, currently serving as the Past Chair of the Public Policy Committee at the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) since January 2023. With a long-standing role as Program Director of the Clinical Informatics Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since April 2017, Joseph has also been pivotal at Mount Sinai Hospital, holding positions as Chief of Clinical Informatics and Lead Technical Informaticist for the EMR Clinical Transformation Group since 2000. Joseph's leadership in AMIA includes previous roles as Chair of the Public Policy Committee and Chair of the Clinical Information Systems Working Group. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and History from Columbia University.
