Maya Genovesi

Maya Genovesi, LCSW MPH, possesses extensive experience in social work and public health, currently serving as the Associate Director of Social Work Services at The Mount Sinai Hospital since July 2018, where responsibilities include management within the Emergency Department and Rapid Evaluation & Treatment Unit. Formerly, Maya held positions as Program Manager and Program Coordinator in the same unit. Additional expertise includes a role as Clinical Crisis Manager at Charlie Health and as an Emergency Department & Victim Services Social Worker at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Earlier career experience includes working as a Clinical Research Coordinator at James J. Peters VA Medical Center. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Global Public Health and Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Psychology from Northeastern University.
