Pamela Garcia

Pamela Garcia is a bilingual licensed social worker at The Mount Sinai Hospital since November 2019, specializing in psychosocial assessments and interventions for cardiac disease patients. Previously, as a bilingual behavioral health clinician with the Mental Health Service Corps, Pamela provided essential mental health care to underserved Latino adults, utilizing evidence-based modalities and conducting crisis interventions. A former social work intern at the Mental Health Association of NYC, Pamela developed psychoeducational curriculums and supported individuals experiencing homelessness and severe mental health issues. With additional experience in content creation and digital communication as a style guru, public relations assistant, and blogger, Pamela holds an MSW from Hunter College and a BA in Psychology from Queens College.
