Bridget Shanahan, LMSW, CSM, has over 10 years of experience in the social work field. Bridget began their career in 2010 as an Executive Assistant for the CAIA Association. In 2011, they became the Director of Camp ABC & Off-Season Programs for The Fresh Air Fund. In 2015, they worked as an Account Representative for Camp America. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Community Organizer/Camp Hope Director for Sanctuary for Families and a Policy Fellow for the Drug Policy Alliance. In 2018, they became a Youth Counselor for The Ali Forney Center. In 2020, they were a Social Work Intern for the Me Too Movement and a Policy and Advocacy Analyst for College & Community Fellowship. Currently, they are the Lead Membership Strategist for The Movement Cooperative and an Adjunct Lecturer, Social Welfare Policy for the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter.
Bridget Shanahan, LMSW, CSM obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Trinity Washington University between 1998 and 2002. Bridget later obtained their Master of Social Work from Hunter College in 2019. In 2021, they obtained a Digital Marketing Strategies certification from Kellogg Executive Education. In 2022, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance, and in 2019 they obtained a Licensed Master Social Worker certification from the New York State Education Department.
