Director of People & Culture at The Movement Cooperative

Camilla Hill, M.Ed has worked in a variety of roles in the field of education and diversity, equity, and inclusion. In 2022, they began their role as Director of People & Culture at The Movement Cooperative. From 2019 to the present, they have been Manager of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at Warrior-Scholar Project, where they collaborate with the CEO and Directors, designs and implements specialized bias training, and serves as a resource on issues of diversity, inclusion, equity, disability and accessibility, gender and racial justice, and bias. From 2014 to 2019, they were Assistant Director at Virginia Commonwealth University's Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, where they partnered with Human Resources to design and implement specialized training, developed curriculum for VCU's inaugural Mosaic and Lavender House living learning communities, and served as LGBTQ Resource Assistant. From 2013 to 2014, they were Assistant Coach Field Hockey at College of William and Mary, where they coached athletes, counseled players, and delivered educational workshops. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Crisis Counselor at Colonial Behavioral Health. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Graduate Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University's Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, where they worked in LGBT and Women's Services.

Camilla Hill, M.Ed began their educational journey in 2007 when they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from William & Mary. Camilla then pursued their Master's of Education from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012, graduating in 2013 with a focus in College Student Development and Counseling. In 2014, they obtained a Virginia CSB Preadmission screener certification from Colonial Behavioral Health.
