Kasia Hinkson

Kasia Hinkson has a diverse background in data engineering and statistical analysis. Kasia started their career in 2016 as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Houston, where they worked until 2021. During this time, they gained experience in research and data analysis. In 2021, they joined Harris County Public Health as a Statistical Support Analyst, where they provided analytical support for public health initiatives. Later that year, they joined Civis Analytics as an Applied Data Engineer I and then moved on to the role of Applied Data Engineer II. In these roles, they utilized their data engineering skills to drive insights and create solutions. Currently, Kasia holds the position of Senior Data Engineer at The Movement Cooperative, where they apply their expertise in data engineering to support the organization's mission.

Kasia Hinkson holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Political Science, which was obtained from the University of Houston between 2016 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History at Southern New Hampshire University from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kasia has acquired several certifications, including "Programming Foundations: Secure Coding," "Business Writing Principles," "Consulting Foundations: Client Management and Relationships," and "Python Essential Training." These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn, with the most recent being the "Programming Foundations: Secure Coding" certification obtained in January 2022.
