Jeremy Witley has extensive experience in the mining and exploration industry. Jeremy began their career as a Student Geologist at EZ Australia in 1987 and went on to work as a Mine Geologist at Anglo American and Rand Mines. Witley then became an Exploration Geologist at Gold Fields before joining BCL Limited as a Superintendant Mineral Resources. Jeremy later worked as a Principal Consultant for Snowden, specializing in Mineral Resource Evaluation. Witley continued their career at Lonmin Platinum as a Senior Manager of Mineral Resources. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Department - Mineral Resources at The MSA Group, where they focus on mineral resource estimation, public reporting, and best practice guidance. This structured work experience spans over 30 years in the industry.

Jeremy Witley has a strong education background in the field of mining engineering and geology. Jeremy obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Mining Geology from the University of Leicester from 1985 to 1988. Later, they pursued their Graduate Diploma in Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand from 2003 to 2005. During this time, they also obtained the certification of Pr. Sci. Nat. from SACNASP in May 2005. Finally, they completed their Master of Science degree in Engineering in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand from 2012 to 2015.
