Khaya Mbatha

Khaya Mbatha is an experienced professional in the geological and operational fields, currently serving as an Operations Manager at POWERX Pty Ltd since November 2017. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Exploration Geologist at The MSA Group since January 2015 and a previous position with the same organization as a Geologist from November 2012 to November 2014, where responsibilities included geological and geotechnical core logging, sampling, and drill site supervision with a focus on health and safety compliance. Earlier roles include Geologist at Neil Andersen Consultants from March 2011 to October 2012 and Junior Geologist at Areva Resources from April 2008 to March 2010. Khaya Mbatha holds a BSc Honours in Hydrogeology from the University of the Free State and a BSc in Geology from Rand Afrikaans University.
