Mark Freda has extensive experience in public service and leadership positions, currently serving as the Mayor of Princeton, NJ since January 2021 and seeking re-election for a second term. Freda is also the President of the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad since April 2018. Previously, Freda held key roles including Global Head of Real Estate & Facilities Management at Soros Fund Management LLC and Director of NY Headquarters Site Operations at Pfizer. Freda was the Chair of the Princeton Transition Task Force, instrumental in the consolidation of Princeton Borough and Princeton Township into a single municipality. With a background in finance as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co. and Facilities Management at Commodities Corporation, Freda's academic credentials include a BA in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Administration from The College of New Jersey.
