Anna Bursaux

Anna’s expertise in operations of global exhibition programs has developed over 15 years in the museum world.

Prior to founding the museum box, Anna founded Arxero another traveling exhibitions company. For 10 years, Anna served as Director of Collections Partnership at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA). Her department oversaw the museum’s extensive traveling exhibitions program, as well as the MFA’s sister museum in Japan and the global strategy for the museum at large.

During her tenure at the MFA, MFA traveling exhibitions reached over 15 million visitors at 140 venues on four continents.

Anna was born and raised in Paris, France. She relocated to the United States for university, where she studied Art History, Philosophy, Graphic Design, and Business.

Today, Anna lives in Boston Massachusetts’s South End with her husband. She is a member of the Board of the Boston Center for the Arts (BCA). The BCA is a not-for-profit performing and visual arts campus that supports working artists to create, perform and exhibit new works; develops new audiences; and connects the arts to community.

Anna is an alumna of Boston University, Tufts University and the Harvard Business School.
