Letitia Fernandez Ivins

Letitia Fernandez Ivins has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Letitia Fernandez is currently the Senior Director of Civic Strategies & Partnerships at The Music Center since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as an Advisory Committee Member for the Los Angeles County Cultural Equity and Inclusion Initiative starting from March 2016. Letitia also held positions at Los Angeles Metro, where they were the Director of Public Arts & Design from May 2022 to October 2022, and Senior Manager of Transportation Planning (Arts & Design) from February 2015 to May 2022. Letitia Fernandez worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Claremont Graduate University from January 2019 to May 2022. In addition, Letitia was the Board Secretary for Pilipino Worker's Center from September 2010 to December 2019. Letitia Fernandez was involved in various roles at the Los Angeles County Community Development Foundation, including Assistant Director of Civic Art from May 2007 to January 2015 and Co-Chair of the Public Art Coalition of Southern California from 2007 to 2012. Letitia Fernandez also served as a Civic Art Project Manager and an Advisory Board Member during their tenure there. Letitia was a member of the Emerging Leaders Council at Americans for the Arts from 2009 to 2012 and served as an Advisory Board Member for Outpost for Contemporary Art from March 2008 to 2011. Letitia Fernandez began their career in 2004 at Ryman Arts, where they worked in Development & Operations.

Letitia Fernandez Ivins completed their undergraduate education from 1999 to 2003 at Vassar College, earning their Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History.
