Sharon Stewart

Sharon Stewart has a diverse and impressive work experience in the music industry. Sharon began their career in 1999 as an Education and Community Programs Coordinator for the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Sharon then worked as an Associate Director of Production and Education for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra from 2001 to 2002. Sharon joined the Los Angeles Philharmonic again in 2002, where they served as an Artistic Planning Coordinator + Artist Liaison. In this role, they played a key role in the launch of the grand opening of the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Hollywood Bowl renovation. Sharon also coordinated guest appearances at non-concert events and managed celebrity talent such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Tom Hanks, and Steven Spielberg. Sharon later joined The Music Center in 2005 as a Booking Manager before being promoted to Associate Director of Scheduling and Events in 2011. Sharon then became the Director of Scheduling and Events in 2013, responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of events. In 2016, Sharon joined the Vicente Chamber Orchestra as an Event Manager, responsible for organizing and managing concerts featuring renowned guest soloists. Throughout their career, Sharon has demonstrated strong organizational skills, event management expertise, and the ability to work with high-profile artists and celebrities.

Sharon Stewart holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Musicology from UCLA, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music. Sharon also completed a program in Music Business and Artist Management at UCLA Extension. In 2021, Sharon obtained a Certificate in Cal/OSHA COVID-19 Safety from J.J. Keller & Associates. In 2020, they acquired several certificates from Torrance Adult School, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Additionally, in 2021, they earned a Certificate in Accounting and Finance from Torrance Adult School.
