Ibrahim Apekhade Yusuf began their career in 2006 as the Head of Business & Economy at The Nation newspaper. IBRAHIM APEKHADE served as a Mass communication graduate with a focus on print journalism and was responsible for coordinating the business pages for the Sunday title. Throughout their seven-year media career, they reported on various topics including health, arts, business, politics, development, and human interest stories. IBRAHIM APEKHADE also actively participated in workshops and interfaces both locally and continent-wide. Additionally, Yusuf held the position of Head of Business & Economy at Vintage Press Limited, specifically for The Nation on Sunday.

Ibrahim Apekhade Yusuf completed a Certificate in Media Executive Management from Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University in the year 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Masters in Communication Studies with a focus on Bias in PR/Advertising from Lagos State University between 2006 and 2009. IBRAHIM APEKHADE initially pursued higher education at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication with a specialization in Bias in Print Journalism from 1995 to 1999.
