Tina Laws

Tina Laws has extensive experience in the construction and notary sectors, currently serving as a Retired Member of the National Association of Women in Construction since October 2019. Tina has been a Notary Public at TM Laws Notary Services since May 1988. Tina's prior roles include Contract Administrator and Office Manager at Community Asphalt Corporation from August 2000 to May 2019, and Assistant Contract Administrator at Russell Engineering, Inc. from 1989 to 2000. Additionally, Tina held leadership positions within the National Association of Women in Construction from September 2009 to September 2013, including Region 3 Membership Chair, Palm Beach Chapter Membership Chair, and Region 3 Director, with responsibilities that included acting as a liaison for members and serving on the Board of Directors. Tina pursued education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University from 1982 to 1983.

National Association of Women in Construction

NAWIC is an international association serving 120+ chapters across the United States. It was founded in 1953 to enhance the success of women in the construction industry as “Women in Construction of Fort Worth, Texas.” In 1955, the charter was expanded to allow chapters to form across the country and the National Association of Women in Construction was born. NAWIC’s Core Purpose is “To enhance the success of women in the construction industry.” The association has expanded to include international affiliates in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom.
