James Trethowan

James Trethowan serves as the Head of Data Protection at the National Autistic Society since August 2013, where significant achievements include attaining level-2 NHS-N3 IGT registration and leading compliance programs for Data Protection and PCI DSS. Prior experience includes roles as Quality and Information Systems Manager at Sullivan Cuff Software Ltd, where James developed ISO quality systems, and IT Manager/Information Security Officer at Stralfors Plc, where ISO 27001 was implemented. James's freelance work as an IT Specialist at Trethowan Data Processing provided IT consultation to local businesses, and previous positions at Novartis involved managing support teams and technical projects across multiple sites. James holds an HND in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computing from London Metropolitan University.
