Christopher Dennis is an accomplished professional in the field of production and lighting design, currently serving as the Director of Production at The National Ballet of Canada since July 2023. Prior to this role, Christopher held significant positions at San Francisco Ballet from July 2010 to July 2023 as both Production Director and Technical Director. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Resident Lighting Designer at the Metropolitan Opera and Resident Lighting Designer at The National Ballet of Canada from 1995 to 2009. Christopher also worked as a Lighting Designer at Stratford Festival in 2009 and led the Associated Designers of Canada as President from 2007 to 2009. Education includes a BFA in Theatre Technical Production from Ryerson University and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University, obtained in July 2021.
