Rashmi Kumar

Rashmi Kumar has a diverse work experience in the field of cancer research and clinical content. From 2006 to the present, they have been working at the National Comprehensive Cancer Network® (NCCN®), starting as an Oncology Scientist/Senior Medical Writer and progressing to the roles of Sr. Manager, Director of Clinical Information Operations, and currently as the Senior Director of Clinical Content. Prior to their time at NCCN®, Rashmi worked as a Scientist at Avesthagen from 1996 to 2000. Rashmi also served as a Research Fellow at the National Center for Biological Sciences (NCBS) in Bangalore, India from 1996 to 1998.

Rashmi Kumar started their education at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore University in 1991, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Botany, Chemistry, and Physics in 1994. Rashmi then pursued a Master of Science degree in Life Sciences from Pondicherry University between 1994 and 1996. Later, Rashmi attended Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Molecular Biology.
