Michael Erbesfeld

Michael Erbesfeld is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy efficiency, lighting systems, and building codes. Currently serving as Senior Program Manager for Lighting Systems at the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), Michael oversees the technical agenda for the Lighting Division and collaborates with various advocacy groups to develop national and international standards. Previous roles include Program Manager for Lighting Systems Standards, Director of Codes & Standards at BOMA International, and Engineering Manager at the US Department of Energy. Michael's educational background includes both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami.
