Billy J. Hensley, Ph.D., currently serves as President and CEO of the National Endowment for Financial Education since May 2010, after previously holding the position of Senior Director of Education, where leadership encompassed grants, research, and educational initiatives impacting over 1 million learners annually. Additional academic experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor of Education at the University of Louisville from January 2013 to May 2018 and as a Graduate Research Associate and Instructor at the University of Cincinnati, contributing to various educational and financial initiatives. Earlier career roles included positions at KnowledgeWorks Foundation, Hiram College, Union College, and Leslic County School District, complemented by a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Educational Studies from the University of Cincinnati and multiple degrees in Education and Psychology.
