Eric Chess M.D.

Eric Chess MD, JD is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in aging, financial security, and law. As the Founder and Director of The Paul Freeman Financial Security Program and Aging and Wellbeing at the University of Denver since October 2017, Eric has also served as Chair of the Colorado Older Adults Financial Justice Coalition, facilitating statewide efforts to combat financial fraud against older adults. In addition to various academic positions, including Clinical Professor and Affiliate Professor at the University of Denver, Eric is actively involved with multiple organizations, including Wish of a Lifetime and AgeWise Colorado, and participates in advisory roles for the Colorado Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Action Coalition. Eric's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine and a Doctor of Law from New York Law School.
