J. Michael Dedmon

J. Michael Dedmon currently serves as the Director of Research at the National Endowment for Financial Education since June 2023 and as an Instructor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs since August 2022. Previously, J. Michael Dedmon held positions as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University - Maxwell School from March 2020 to June 2023, Policy Manager at The Financial Clinic from March 2018 to October 2019, and Research Associate at the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs from 2014 to June 2018. Additional experience includes roles as Research Analyst - Global Markets at the Center for Creative Leadership from June 2012 to July 2014 and Research Intern at One Earth Future Foundation in May 2011. J. Michael Dedmon's educational background includes pursuing a PhD in Political Science at Syracuse University - Maxwell School from 2014 to 2024, an MSc in Politics and Government in the European Union from The London School of Economics and Political Science in 2010, and a BA in International and Comparative Politics, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from The American University of Paris in 2009.
