Mohamed Sheriff

Mohamed Sheriff has extensive experience in the arts and administrative sectors, currently serving as Division Coordinator, Literature Specialist, and previously as Staff Assistant at the National Endowment for the Arts since October 2012. Prior to this role, Mohamed contributed as a Board Member for the Arts Administrators of Color DMV Network from April 2018 to September 2020 and worked as an Administrative Assistant at the U.S. Department of State from July 2008 to October 2012. Mohamed also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant from June 2004 to May 2008. Academically, Mohamed holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Management from American University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
