Jake Colvin is a seasoned professional in international trade and innovation, currently serving as President of the National Foreign Trade Council since August 2005. Colvin has held multiple roles within the organization, including Vice President of Global Trade and Innovation and Director of USA*Engage. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Global Innovation Forum since June 2009, Colvin has also established Modern Fellows in December 2011. Prior experience includes positions at International Business Counselors, the U.S. Department of State, Steptoe and Johnson, and the Atlantic Council. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Richmond, with additional study at the University of London.
