Joy Lyngar is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in academia and juvenile law. Currently serving as the Chief Academic Officer and Academic Director at The National Judicial College since October 2007, Joy has previously held the position of Director in the Juvenile and Family Law Department at the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges from June 1998 to October 2007. Joy's career includes roles as a Program Attorney and Policy Analyst in the same organization. Joy holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from the University of Saskatchewan (1991-1994) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature and Philosophy from the same institution (1988-1991).
