Thomas Edwards has over two decades of experience in higher education, currently serving as the Provost at Thomas College since 2000, where responsibilities include strategic and academic planning, program development, accreditation, assessment activities, grant-writing, and campus master planning. Previously, Thomas Edwards held the position of Chief Academic Officer at the New England Commission of Higher Education from 2014 to 2020 and served as a Commissioner at Castleton State College from 1997 to 2000. Earlier roles include Associate Academic Dean at Westbrook College/University of New England and Assistant Professor of English and American Studies. Thomas Edwards earned a Ph.D. in American Culture from Bowling Green State University and holds multiple degrees in German from various institutions including Bowling Green State University and the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
