David Humphreys

League Medical Officer at The National League

David Humphreys is an experienced medical professional with a robust background in sports medicine and general practice. Currently serving as a Remuneration Committee Member for the General Practice Defence Fund and as League Medical Officer for The National League, David provides medical leadership and governance to member clubs. With a long-standing role as Club Doctor for Bolton Wanderers Football Club since June 2013, David also chairs the Wigan Local Medical Committee and practices as a general practitioner at Shevington Surgery, where David has been a partner for over nine years. David's educational credentials include an MSc in Sports Medicine from the University of Central Lancashire, alongside an MBBS from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Medical Science from the University of St Andrews.
