Olaug Irene Røsvik Andreassen

Olaug Irene Røsvik Andreassen is a seasoned registrar with extensive experience in managing museum collections and loans, currently serving at Nasjonalmuseet for kunst, arkitektur og design since August 2016. Notable roles include developing procedures for long-term loans and coordinating the Move project. Previous roles within the same institution involve coordinating outgoing loans and contributing to the development of handbooks for loan management. Olaug's background encompasses research during maternity leave and significant positions at the Smithsonian Institution and the Kon-Tiki Museum, including project management of international exhibitions. Olaug holds a PhD in Anthropology from UNSW and has acquired various degrees in anthropology, art history, and religious history across multiple esteemed institutions.
