Michael Bell

Michael (Mick) Bell is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, and technical leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as a volunteer at The National Museum of Computing since May 2021, Michael specializes in computer restoration and software development using Raspberry Pi, while also engaging in educational initiatives as a STEM Ambassador. Prior to retirement in April 2020, Michael held significant roles, including Enterprise Architect at IBM, CTO for Automotive & Aerospace, and CTO for the Industrial sector, overseeing complex systems integration and modernization projects. Additional experience includes positions at Atos Origin, KPMG UK, Xpedior, CMG, and ICL Defence Systems, demonstrating a robust background in technology consulting and management. Michael holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from The Open University Business School and an HNC in Computer Science from West Herts College.
