Gavin Whitter

Gavin Whitter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in accountancy and governance. Currently serving as a Trustee Director at The National Museum of the Royal Navy since January 2015, Gavin also chairs the Audit and Governance Committee and is a member of the Development and Finance Committee. As a Director at Gibson Whitter Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers since March 2012, Gavin provides strategic accountancy services and business advice to various sectors, including Owner Managed Businesses and Charities. Prior roles include Trustee Director and Chair of the Finance and General Purposes Committee at the Royal Marines Museum and Senior Manager at Morris Crocker Chartered Accountants, along with key positions at Jones Avens and Grant Thornton. Gavin's educational background includes attendance at Ryde High School from 1983 to 1986.
