Tierney Wade

Tierney Wade is the Chief Administrative Officer at the NSLS and is responsible for bridging the space between the company’s visionary strategies and operational efficiencies. Tierney creates and implements the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and organizational structures to accommodate rapid growth objectives.

In her current position, Tierney plays a key role in how the organization empowers and engages college students at over 700 universities nationwide through its leadership program, with the sole focus of building leaders who make a better world.

Tierney has spent her career focused on providing educational support to students nationwide, from high school all the way through graduate school. Prior to joining the NSLS in 2012, Tierney successfully ran two separate test prep divisions for The Princeton Review (TPR). At TPR, she led an operations team and 260+ instructors to execute high course quality by delivering excellent instruction, stimulating classroom experiences, and program outcomes that consistently achieved a 52% Net Promoter rate for the NYC/LI division.

Working closely with teachers, tutors and staff members, Tierney spearheaded several institutional programs to provide standardized readiness programs to students across several diverse demographics and age ranges, including that of Harlem Children’s Zone Promise Academy (a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality programming to the poverty-stricken youth of Central Harlem) and Latino Justice PRLDEF (a nonprofit, national civil rights organization based in NYC).

Tierney earned her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Miami and has a passion for family, food, and travel.
