The National Summer School Initiative (NSSI)
Rebekah Mills-Ifshin is an experienced educator currently serving as the Director of Instructional Support for Early Literacy at Instruction Partners since July 2023, after previously holding the role of Associate Director in the same area. Prior to that, Rebekah was the Lead Professional Development Provider at the National Summer School Initiative from March 2023 to August 2023. Rebekah has also worked in leadership roles at ARISE Schools as Director of K-2 and K-2 Literacy Director, and as Assistant Principal at FirstLine Schools. Earlier positions include Principal Fellow at Uncommon Schools and various roles at FirstLine Schools, including Instructional Coach and Kindergarten Teacher. Rebekah is a Teacher Leader Fellow with Leading Educators and a Leadership Coaching Fellow with Match Education. Rebekah holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Mississippi.
