Professional Actor at The National Theatre for Children

Susan Leist is an experienced professional in both the healthcare and performing arts sectors. Currently serving as a Home Health Aide at Visiting Angels since May 2020, Susan also contributes as a Costume Designer for Unto These Hills since May 2019, where responsibilities include acting as an understudy for Mrs. Perkins and performing box office duties. With a strong background as a Professional Actor, Susan has been touring with The National Theatre for Children since September 2014, delivering engaging performances to schools across the United States on topics such as energy conservation and anti-bullying. Previous experience includes working as a Retail Cashier for The Michaels Companies, Inc. from October 2016 to April 2022, and performing various roles including actor, assistant costumer, assistant stage manager, and wig designer for Scioto Society Inc. from May 2004 to September 2018. Susan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre for Youth from Shenandoah University, earned between 1999 and 2003.
