Karen Craig has a diverse work experience, starting in 1997 as a Senior Accountant at Wegmann Dazet & Company. Karen then progressed to become the Chief Financial Officer at Keating Magee, where they handled all accounting and financial activities and collaborated on operational and strategic planning. Later, in 2009, they joined the City of Gretna as the Director of Finance. Karen then became the Financial Controller at the Louisiana Department of Education in 2012. Karen'snext role was as the Chief Financial Officer at New Beginnings Schools Foundation, where they were responsible for various financial operations and served on the executive team. Currently, they are working as the Associate Vice President of Finance at The National WWII Museum.

Karen Craig attended Kennesaw State University from 1987 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus in Accounting. In 1994, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State Board of CPAs of Louisiana. In 2012, they received a Charted Global Management Accountant certification from the AICPA.
