Maggie Hartley Ed.d.

Maggie Hartley, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience. Maggie currently serves as the Director of Public Engagement at The National WWII Museum since February 2022. Before that, they were the Assistant Director of Public Engagement at the same institution from January 2021 to February 2022. Prior to their role at The National WWII Museum, they worked at the National D-Day Memorial Foundation in various positions, including Associate Director for Programming and Events from March 2017 to January 2021, Education Coordinator from September 2015 to March 2017, Education Assistant from January 2015 to August 2015, and Education Intern from May 2013 to December 2014. Additionally, they were a Graduate Student Assistant at Liberty University from August 2014 to December 2015.

Maggie Hartley, Ed.D., completed their education with a focus on leadership in the field of education. Maggie first pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Social Sciences from Liberty University, which they successfully obtained from 2010 to 2013. Afterward, they continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History from 2014 to 2015. Building on their knowledge and skills in education, Maggie furthered their academic journey at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Leadership from 2019 to 2022.
