Catherine Fitzgerald

Catherine Fitzgerald is a dedicated environmental professional with extensive experience in project management and ecological research. Currently serving as the Natural Climate Solutions Strategy Manager at The Nature Conservancy since May 2017, Catherine has managed various innovative reforestation initiatives and contributed to urban ecological projects. Prior experience includes environmental consulting at EEE Consulting, Inc., where Catherine conducted natural resource assessments and impact evaluations, as well as roles in wildlife biology and conservation research at Duke University and Furman University. Throughout the career, Catherine has balanced project management with teaching yoga and mentorship, demonstrating a commitment to both environmental sustainability and community engagement. Catherine holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Furman University.
