Cherie Wagner has extensive experience in marine and environmental affairs, currently serving as the Reef Resilience Network Training Lead at The Nature Conservancy since May 2013. Prior roles at The Nature Conservancy include Reef Resilience Program Coordinator and Assistant within the Global Oceans and Global Marine teams. Cherie Wagner also contributed as a Research Assistant at The WorldFish Center and worked as a Consultant for the Natural Capital Project. Academic contributions include a Teaching Assistant position at the University of Washington, covering various courses within the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs and the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences. Additionally, Cherie Wagner has worked as a Research Associate with URI Coastal Resources Center & PATH Philippines and served as Program Manager at Freshwater Society. Cherie Wagner holds a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington and a Master of Environmental Science from Miami University.
