Jessica Schem is a highly experienced marine monitoring technician currently employed at The Nature Conservancy since January 2023. Previously, Jessica worked as an Oahu fish and habitat technician for the Hawaii Division of Aquatic Resources and held various positions at NOAA, including roles in the PIFSC/JIMAR Science Operations Division and as a marine debris field technician in Hawaii. With a strong background in environmental science, Jessica served as an environmental scientist at McAlister GeoScience, conducting soil and groundwater investigations, and performed site assessments for the Los Angeles Regional Interoperable Communications System. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from UC San Diego and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biology with a focus on Marine Science and Marine Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
