Jim South's work experience began in 1993 when they served as a Senior Consultant and Consultant for Deloitte & Touche, LLP. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as an MBA Intern for Wal*Mart Stores, Inc, where they developed a growth plan for SAM's Clubs and analyzed store efficiency. Jim then became the Director of Corporate Engagement, managing project management for the Corporate Engagement team and working with Fortune 50 companies to incorporate Natural Capital Solutions. Currently, they serve as the Deputy Director of Corporate Engagement, overseeing the operations of a 40-person team and managing projects from concept to implementation.
Jim South earned a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management/Operations and Marketing from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School during the period of 1989 to 1993.
