John Stuelpnagel is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience in the biotechnology and genomics sectors. Currently serving as Chairman at 10X Genomics, Inscripta, Inc., and Fabric Genomics, Stuelpnagel has also held pivotal positions as Board Member at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. and previously as Chairman at Element Biosciences. Stuelpnagel co-founded Ariosa Diagnostics, which was acquired by Roche, and Sequenta, Inc., which was acquired by Adaptive Biotechnologies, where Stuelpnagel served as a Board Member. A co-founder of Illumina, Inc., Stuelpnagel played various roles, including President and CEO, over an eleven-year tenure. Stuelpnagel holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and degrees in Veterinary Medicine and Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis.
