José Luis Marulanda González

José Luis Marulanda González is a Sustainable Finance and Business Models Specialist at The Nature Conservancy, focusing on innovative financial mechanisms for regenerative business models since February 2024. Previously, José served as a consultant for the Wildlife Conservation Society and CIAT, contributing to various sustainable development initiatives. At Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali, José worked as a researcher in the Institute of Intercultural Studies, participating in significant projects related to rural property management and development plans. During an advisory role at the Alcaldía Municipal Jamundí, José formulated agricultural programs for the municipal development plan. José also held teaching positions and conducted research on rural economic issues throughout his career. José holds a Master's degree in Rural Development and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
