Kate Ireland

Kate Ireland currently serves as the Director of Youth Engagement at The Nature Conservancy, a position held since 2018. Previously, Kate Ireland held various roles at the District of Columbia Public Schools from 2009 to 2018, including Director of Global Education and Coordinator of the Embassy Adoption Program. Earlier experience includes positions as Practicum Director and Admissions Counselor at Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts from 2007 to 2010, and as a Project Assistant at ASCD from 2005 to 2006. Kate Ireland holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Virginia and an MA in Community Building for the K-12 Classroom from The George Washington University.
