Kevin Juma

Kevin Juma serves as the Africa Forest Carbon Catalyst Director at The Nature Conservancy since November 2017, specializing in forest carbon initiatives across the continent. Prior to this role, Kevin held the position of Africa lead forestry specialist and worked as a forestry consultant on various assignments focused on developing forest management plans and implementing social and environmental impact assessment systems from August 2013 to November 2017. Kevin's experience includes managing a private forest enterprise in South Sudan with Blue Lakes Ltd. from January 2009 to August 2013, and a graduate internship at the Kenya Forest Service in early 2008. Academically, Kevin holds an MSc in Development Finance from KCA University, earned between 2018 and 2020, and a BSc in Forestry from Moi University, completed in 2007.
