Lydia O'Connor

Lydia O'Connor serves as the Executive Coordinator to the Chief Operating Officer at The Nature Conservancy since January 2024. Previously, Lydia O'Connor held various positions at the Guggenheim Museum from August 2015 to January 2024, including Assistant to the Deputy Director of Global Public Affairs and Communications, where responsibilities included managing high-level projects, communications frameworks, and special initiatives across multiple departments. Prior roles at the Guggenheim include Operations Specialist and various positions supporting the Board of Trustees. Earlier experience includes Senior Finance Assistant at The Phillips Collection, Executive Assistant at Fenandez & Associates, and roles in visitor services and film reviewing. Lydia O'Connor holds a Master of Philosophy in Film Theory & History from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from George Mason University. Additionally, Lydia O'Connor completed a Certificate in Methods and Materials in Art History at the University of Cambridge.
