Nav Dayanand holds extensive experience in conservation policy and government relations, currently serving as Senior Director of Institutional Partnerships at The Nature Conservancy since August 2014. Previously, Nav held various roles at The Nature Conservancy, including Senior Policy Advisor for Forests and Lands and Director of Federal Government Relations, where responsibilities included developing federal strategies and advocating for conservation funding. Prior to this, Nav was Managing Director at Fauna & Flora International, overseeing operations and policy engagement on illegal wildlife trade, and Assistant Director of Federal Affairs at the Wildlife Conservation Society, where legislative advocacy efforts resulted in significant funding for conservation projects. Nav also served as Director of Government and Public Affairs at NOFAS, facilitating awareness for FASD. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from Cornell Law School, a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the National Law School of India University, and an LLB from Bangalore University. Further education includes programs at Cambridge Judge Business School and Harvard University.
