Patrick Snell is an experienced climate and energy strategy professional currently serving as the Climate and Energy Strategy Lead at The Nature Conservancy since August 2016. In this role, Patrick has created a rooftop solar educational series benefiting over 2,300 Iowans and resulting in more than $7 million in new solar investments. Patrick has built strategic partnerships with governmental agencies and community leaders to advance climate policy and has facilitated bipartisan conversations to promote climate projects. Previously, Patrick worked as a Climate and Energy Policy Specialist at Iowa Interfaith Power & Light and as a Mark C. Ackelson Fellow at the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, focusing on public policy and coalition-building. Patrick co-founded Dogwood Designs LLC, specializing in sustainable landscape solutions, and has held various research and instructional roles in public health and community engagement. Patrick holds a BBA in Economic Policy and a Certificate in Public Health from the University of Iowa.
