Shivan M.

Shivan M. has over 15 years of experience in IT operations and systems administration, currently serving as the Director of Cloud Operations and Infrastructure at The Nature Conservancy since November 2012, after progressing from the role of Associate Director of Enterprise Systems. Prior experience includes leading IT operations at Asia Insurance Company, where Shivan established the first comprehensive insurance company in Iraq. Previous positions also include Systems Administrator II at The Nature Conservancy, Systems/Network Engineer at SVP LLC, and Retail IT Manager/Network Administrator at Simply Wireless. Shivan holds a Master of Information Technology with a focus on Big Data and Machine Learning from Virginia Tech, a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from George Mason University, and an Associate of Applied Science in Information Systems from Northern Virginia Community College. Further education at Cambridge Judge Business School is ongoing.
