Susan Cook-Patton, Ph.D. has experience in policy analysis, project management, and synthesis of scientific literature with the US Forest Service and AAAS. Susan holds a PhD from Cornell University where their research focused on the impact of biodiversity changes on ecosystem health. In addition, Susan has worked as a research associate studying invasive species' effects on microbial soil communities at Indiana University Bloomington. Currently, Susan serves as a Senior Forest Restoration Scientist at The Nature Conservancy and as a Research Associate at the Smithsonian Institution, where Susan is involved in a long-term forest experiment testing the impact of climate change and tree diversity on forest health.
